Lisinopril / HCTZ Drug interactions
Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, (prescription
and nonprescription) especially if you take high blood pressure
medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine,
selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other
medicine. Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase
your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants
are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.
Lisinopril / HCTZ dosage and missed doses of lisinopril / hctz
If you miss a dose of lisinopril / hctz, do not double the
next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual
dosing schedule. Take the missed lisinopril / hctz dose as
soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for
the next lisinopril / hctz dose, skip the missed Casodex dose
and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not
take a double dose to make up for
a missed one. Be careful of lisinopril / hctz withdrawal.
